AFRIQOM Fertilizer Club Africa Conference Delegate Terms and Conditions
1. General
These terms and conditions apply to all participants attending the AFRIQOM Fertilizer Club Africa Conference ("Event" or “Conference”). By registering for the Conference, participants agree to comply with these terms and conditions. Throughout these terms and conditions, AFRIQOM Conference Organizers may be referred to as "We," "AFRIQOM," or "Conference Organizers," while delegates may be referred to as "You" or "Delegate."
2. Participants and Delegates
2.1 Eligibility: Participation is open to industry professionals, stakeholders, and other interested parties as determined by the Conference Organizers.
2.2 Registration: All Delegates and Participants must complete the online registration form and provide accurate information. Registration is not confirmed until full payment is received.
2.3 Badge: Each Delegate will receive a badge upon registration, which must be worn at all times during the conference. The badge is non-transferable.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 Fees: All registration fees must be paid in full prior to the Conference. The applicable fees are outlined on the conference website and may vary based on factors such as company size, industry segment, or other relevant criteria determined internally by AFRIQOM.
3.2 Payment Methods: Payment can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or other methods specified on the registration form. Any bank charges or fees are the responsibility of the Delegate.
3.3 Invoice: An invoice will be issued upon receipt of payment. Please ensure that the correct billing information is provided during registration.
3.4 Third-Party Payment Provider: We may accept payment through a third-party payment intermediary ("Third-Party Payment Provider"), but using such services is entirely at your own risk. Before utilizing these services, we advise you to review the privacy policies and terms of use of the Third-Party Payment Provider. AFRIQOM assumes no liability for any additional fees, charges, or issues arising from your use of a Third-Party Payment Provider.
4. Refund, Cancellation, Transfer and Substitution Terms
4.1 Refund Policy: Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the conference organizers. The following refund schedule applies:

More than 30 days before the conference: 75% refund

15-30 days before the conference: 50% refund

Less than 15 days before the conference: No refund
4.2 Cancellation and Rescheduling: Delegates who need to cancel their registration must notify the conference organizers in writing. The Conference Organizers reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the Event due to force majeure or unforeseen circumstances beyond their control. In such cases, Delegates will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to the rescheduled event.
4.3 Transfer of Registration: Registration for the Event cannot be transferred to another AFRIQOM conference or event unless agreed upon in writing between AFRIQOM and the Delegate.
4.4 Substitutions: If a registered Delegate from your organization is unable to attend, you may nominate a substitute from within your organization to attend in their place. Substitution requests must be submitted in writing to the Conference Organizers at least 7 days before the event. Substitutes cannot be individuals outside of the registered organization.
5. Privacy, Data Protection, and Delegate List
5.1 Data Collection: The personal information provided during registration will be used for administrative purposes, including the creation of the delegate list and issuance of invoices.
5.2 Data Sharing: Personal information will not be shared with third parties without the participant's consent, except as required by law or as necessary to fulfill the conference’s administrative needs.
6. Liability and Travel
6.1 Responsibility: The Conference Organizers will not be liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the conference.
6.2 Force Majeure: The Conference Organizers reserve the right to cancel or change the date of the Event due to force majeure or unforeseen circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or governmental restrictions.
6.3 Travel and Accommodation: Each Delegate is responsible for their own costs related to attending the Event, including but not limited to visa fees, accommodation, transportation, and airfare.
7. Acceptance of Terms
A “Delegate” is the individual identified in the Registration Form who wishes to attend the Event and who must either be an Authorized Representative or a person who has consented to the Authorized Representative acting on their behalf regarding registration and attendance at this Event. Attendance at the Event by a Delegate will be considered confirmation of your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
8. Code of Conduct
All Delegates are required to comply with the conference's Code of Conduct, which is available on the conference website.
9. Intellectual Property
All materials provided during the Conference, including presentations and documentation, are the intellectual property of the respective authors and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

Code of Conduct
We are committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all participants at the AFRIQOM Fertilizer Club Africa Conferences. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for behavior during the conference and the consequences for unacceptable behavior.
Where This Code of Conduct Applies

This Code of Conduct applies to all conference-related activities, including:

Conference sessions, workshops, and panels

Networking events and social gatherings

The exhibition hall and sponsor booths

Online interactions and communications related to the conference

Transportation provided by the conference (e.g., executive cars)

All conference venues, including hotels and restaurants associated with the Conference
Expected Behavior

Respect: Treat all Delegates and Participants with respect and consideration, valuing a diversity of views and opinions.

Inclusivity: Be inclusive and respectful in all interactions and communications, regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, national origin, ethnicity, religion, or socioeconomic status.

Professionalism: Conduct yourself in a professional manner. Use appropriate language and behavior and be considerate in your interactions with others.

Collaboration: Support a positive and constructive environment by being collaborative and open to the ideas of others.

Privacy: Respect the privacy of all Delegates and Participants. Do not take photographs or record sessions without permission from the Conference Organizers, Delegates and Participants involved.
Unacceptable Behavior

Harassment: Harassment and discrimination of any kind, including offensive verbal comments, intimidation, stalking, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention, will not be tolerated.

Disruption: Disruptive behavior during presentations, sessions, workshops, or any other conference-related events is unacceptable.

Inappropriate Communication: The use of inappropriate, discriminatory, or offensive language and imagery is prohibited, both in the physical and virtual conference environments.

Violence: Any form of violence or threatening behavior is strictly prohibited.
Reporting Unacceptable Behavior
If you experience or witness any form of unacceptable behavior, please report it immediately to the Conference Organizers. You can contact us via email at conferences@afriqom.com or visit the registration desk for assistance. All reports will be treated with confidentiality and addressed promptly.
Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior
Delegates and/or Participants asked to stop any unacceptable behavior are expected to comply immediately. If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior, the Conference Organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including:

Warning the offender

Expelling the offender from the conference without a refund

Banning the offender from future conferences
