Mounir has spent the last 22 years in R&D, commercial and business development roles within the semiconductor and fertilizer sector. He has occupied senior roles within large groups such Samsung, Sony and OCP group where he was a leading driver of the group’s strategy and development. Recently, at OCP Mounir was the Sales Director for Europe and FSU region covering all products from phosphate rock, MGA to processed phosphate fertilizers such as DAP and TSP.

 

Mounir joined Argus over 8 years ago where he is in charge developing the fertilizer business unit, improving existing products, and as well innovating and developing innovative ideas and new products. The Argus NPK global weekly publication is Mounir’s latest brainchild.

 

Three years ago, Mounir dived into his passion to found AFRIQOM with the aim of irradicating opaqueness in the market and promote liquidity in Africa fertilizer markets. Mounir has since drove AFRIQOM to become the leader in Africa fertilizer market business intelligence, analytics, and conferencing.
